1967 GTO photos

This Goat has a Royal Pontiac license plate frame. Royal Pontiac was a small Pontiac dealership near Pontiac headquarters in Royal Oak, Michigan. Royal Pontiac was heavily in the performance business in the sixties. Royal offered modified GTO's called The Royal Bobcat. These are extremely rare and difficult to document. Not all GTO's from Royal Pontiac are Bobcats. Nevertheless - a Royal plate frame is cool.

This car has the optional exhaust splitters. Also, I believe those are Hurst wheels. I'm pretty sure 1965 was the first year Hurst offered wheels.
